PRESS: Extra budget spending on natl projs seen at 790 bln rbl ‘19
MOSCOW, Aug 28 (PRIME) -- Additional budget financing of Russia’s new national projects may amount to 790 billion rubles in 2019, Kommersant business daily reported Tuesday citing results of a meeting of a working group of the government’s budget committee.
A working group chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov discussed federal budget financing of 13 priority expenditures in 2018–2024 with ministries until August 20. These are 12 new national projects, one infrastructure investment program on directions defined by President Vladimir Putin’s May decree, as well as expenditures of state programs not included in these directions. Spending on national projects encompasses 8 trillion rubles of extra spending in 2019–2024 and limits on each of the 13 projects have been set.
Additional budget spending can be approved at 1.17 trillion rubles, including 790 billion rubles on national projects and 380 billion rubles on other projects, in 2019; 1.25 trillion rubles, including 957 billion rubles on national projects, in 2020; 1.48 trillion rubles, including 1.21 trillion rubles on national projects, in 2021.
